Responsibility

Please be aware that It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that all requirements are met. We do have a certain amount of clothing we can lend you, but you must get it before the day of your test as we are unable to transport it to the Test Centre and please return it after use.

Warning

Your test WILL BE CANCELLED if you do not have the correct DOCUMENTATION, MOTORCYCLE or CLOTHING as Stated below.
You WILL NOT get a refund from the DVSA, and your XS fees will still need to be paid.

DOCUMENTS TO PRESENT TO YOUR EXAMINER AT THE DESIGNATED TEST CENTRE
- Your UK photocard driving licence
- Your theory test pass certificate (unless you hold a valid A1/A2 motorcycle license).
- Your compulsory basic training (CBT) certificate (unless you hold a valid A1/A2 motorcycle license).
- Your module 1 test pass certificate - if you’re taking your module 2 test

Motorcycle

XSRTS will provide a suitable motorcycle approved for the Level of test you are taking.(eitherA2 (restricted to 47bhp) or A (unrestricted). The motorcycle you take your lessons on may not be available for your test but a similar one will be available (See Terms and conditions)

MINIMUM PROTECTIVE CLOTHING YOU MUST WEAR (DVSA REGULATIONS)

A motorcycle helmet that meets British safety standards (unless you’re Sikh and wearing a turban)
Motorcycle boots or other sturdy footwear that supports and protects your ankles
A textile or leather motorcycle trousers or heavy denim trousers (absolutely no torn or stressed denims)
A textile or leather motorcycle jacket or a heavy denim jacket with several layers underneath
Gloves approved for motorcycling.
